As mentioned by many a Pretty Little Liars actress, the Liars don’t wake up in the morning looking like they do on the screen (though, we think bed head probably looks better on the cast of PLL than 90 percent of the general population). Check out this behind-the-scenes tweet from one of the makeup artists, Cindy Miguens, who glams up the Liars on a daily basis:

“Sasha Pieterse lips for this Episode: Tarte-Peaceful and Hard Candy Glossaholic Icing,” tweeted Cindy yesterday, sharing a behind-the-scenes photo of the makeup she used on Sasha Pieterse (Alison Dilaurentis) for the day’s production. And if our timeline is correct, PLL is in the middle of filming Episodes 3 and 4 simultaneously, so that means Ali definitely returns to our TV screens at the beginning out the fourth season!

Not only is it fun to see a peek behind the Season 4 production (there are so many details that go into one day’s work), but we’re also excited to hear the Sasha is hard-at-work on PLL. We know that we will be seeing a lot more of Sasha this season, but it’s nice to get these little reminders. Will she be needing all of that lip gloss for kissing, we wonder? We still don’t know for sure if Ali hooked up with Wilden the summer before she “died” or if it was someone else? And what is going on with the strange sexual tension she had with Toby in the juvie flashback? Hopefully, we find out this season.
